If you’ve never heard of them, the Faberge Eggs were jeweled eggs created between 1885 to 1916.
Did you know that the Imperial eggs were not really eggs? These fabulous masterpieces were made of gold, precious stones, and metal for the royal Romanov family to be given as Easter gifts.
Can you imagine anything more fitting than the fine art of transforming REAL eggshells into Faberge-inspired collectibles to up-level one's own collection?
The idea of using an eggshell as my canvas felt like a ‘love at first sight’ moment. I could not imagine a more exhilarating and thrilling challenge as an aspiring artist. Truth be told, my heart still misses a beat just envisioning myself making few more of these majestic beauties!
My hope is to grow my collection to
'50 Heirlooms' that my family and friends enjoy and may be passed forward to our future generations in the years to come.
